Perfectly Moist Chicken Breast
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chicken broth
Directions:
Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
Marinate the Chicken:
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each breast is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours.
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Sear the Chicken:
Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of olive oil if needed.
Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
Bake the Chicken:
Pour the chicken broth into the skillet with the seared chicken breasts. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest and Serve:
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring each bite is moist and flavorful.
Serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
